Hello Glassell Park STEAM Magnet families,
Welcome to first grade with Ms. Perez! I am proud to say that I have served the Glassell Park community for over 20 years.
I believe that all students can learn and be successful with a combined home and school support system. My goal is to provide each child with a safe, welcoming environment in which to learn and take risks while exploring and learning grade-level standards.
TIP: Please check your child’s backpack daily for teacher and principal notices and bulletins. Many important documents have gone home that require parent attention and signatures. Please look for these, sign and return them with your child.
CLASS RULES
1. Focus, listen, and follow directions quickly.
2. Raise your hand for permission to speak.
3. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.
4. Make caring and correct choices.
5. Keep trying even when things are hard.
